You asked, we answered
Ember cast iron is designed for everyday use. Both ranges are better balanced, lighter and finished to be easier to cook and live with - while keeping the heat & performance cast iron is known for
Both are made from high-quality cast iron and offer excellent heat retention, durability, and cooking performance. The difference is in the cooking surface and the care they require. TitaniumClad Cast Iron features a titanium-reinforced enamel coating fused onto the cast iron. It does not need seasoning, is non-reactive and rust-proof, and is easy to clean. It’s well suited for everyday cooking, including acidic dishes and long simmers. Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron comes with a natural oil-based seasoning and is ready to use from day one. Over time, the surface improves with use. It benefits from occasional re-seasoning and requires drying and light oiling after washing. It’s ideal for traditional cooking styles where the pan develops character with use. Both work on all cooktops, have similar weight and heat performance, and are designed to last for generations. The choice comes down to your cooking style and how much maintenance you’re comfortable with.
Ember cookware works on gas, induction, ceramic, and electric cooktops. It is also oven-safe.
It depends on the finish. Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron comes ready with grapeseed oil seasoning and benefits from occasional upkeep over time. Titanium Clad™ Cast Iron does not require seasoning and features a titanium-reinforced enamel coating. Both are designed to be easy to use.
Ember cookware is made from cast iron, so care matters. Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron can rust if left wet and should always be dried thoroughly after washing. Titanium Clad™ Cast Iron is rust-proof thanks to its enamel coating. With normal care, both are designed to stay in excellent condition for years.
