What’s the difference between TitaniumClad™ Cast Iron and Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron?
TitaniumClad™ Cast Iron has a titanium-reinforced enamel coating fused onto the cast iron. It does not require seasoning, is non-reactive, rust-proof, easy to clean, and well suited for everyday cooking including acidic dishes and long simmers.
Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron has a natural oil-based seasoning layer that comes ready to use and improves with time. It benefits from occasional re-seasoning, requires drying and light oiling after washing, and is ideal for traditional cooking styles where the surface develops character with use.
Both options work on all cooktops, offer similar weight and heat performance, and are designed to last for generations—the choice comes down to your preferred cooking style and maintenance routine.
