You Asked,We Answered
What is the Arcilla™ ceramic coating made of?
Arcilla™ is Ember’s proprietary ceramic coating made from naturally derived minerals, free from PFAS, PFOA, PTFE, lead, cadmium, and other forever chemicals.
Are Ember pans as non-stick as Teflon?
Ceramic isn’t ultra non-stick like Teflon—but that’s a good thing. While it requires a little oil or butter, it cooks cleaner, more evenly, and doesn’t release toxic fumes when overheated. The result? Food that loves you back.
Do I need to be careful while using ceramic cookware?
Not fussy, just mindful. Like any premium tool, your Ember pan thrives with gentle utensils (wood or silicone), low-to-medium heat, and a little oil. No harsh scrubbing, no steel wools just clean joy.
Does the non-stick performance fade over time?
With care, ceramic stays smooth for years. But unlike Teflon, which degrades invisibly and dangerously, ceramic coatings wear naturally—and safely. If you treat it right, it’ll keep cooking right.
What kind of utensils should I use?
Wooden or silicone tools are your cookware’s best friends. Metal? Not so much.
Can I bake in this?
Yes! It’s oven-safe up to 260°C, so go ahead—bake bread, slow-cook stews, roast veggies, or make biryani. This one’s built for low-and-slow magic.
Is this too heavy to handle?
Nope. It’s sturdy but not bulky, thanks to thoughtful weight distribution and ergonomic handles.
What’s special about the storage system?
It’s our signature magnetic wooden storage solution—modular, space-saving, and honestly, just gorgeous.
How many people does it serve?
Roughly 4–5 servings, making it ideal for families or batch cooking.
