1. Metal is a no-go. Use wooden or silicone utensils 

2. Don’t use any harsh metal/steel scrubber

3. Your pot prefers a gentle hand wash

4. Cook on medium to low heat for best everyday performance

5. Let it cool before washing - no cold water on a hot surface. It preserves the coating and performance over time

All Ember cookware comes with a limited 5-year warranty. That means we’ve got your back for any manufacturing defects or damages that happen during shipping. 

It doesn’t cover normal wear and tear or issues from regular use - because your Kadai is designed to last with everyday care.

Arcilla™ is Ember’s proprietary ceramic coating made from naturally derived minerals, free from PFAS, PFOA, PTFE, lead, cadmium, and other forever chemicals.

Ceramic isn’t ultra non-stick like Teflon—but that’s a good thing. While it requires a little oil or butter, it cooks cleaner, more evenly, and doesn’t release toxic fumes when overheated. The result? Food that loves you back.

Not fussy, just mindful. Like any premium tool, your Ember pan thrives with gentle utensils (wood or silicone), low-to-medium heat, and a little oil. No harsh scrubbing, no steel wools just clean joy.

With care, ceramic stays smooth for years. But unlike Teflon, which degrades invisibly and dangerously, ceramic coatings wear naturally—and safely. If you treat it right, it’ll keep cooking right.

Wooden or silicone tools are your cookware’s best friends. Metal? Not so much.

We don’t recommend deep frying. Ember cookware is designed for low to medium heat cooking. It’s perfect for sautéing, shallow frying, gravies, and all your everyday curries—minus the excess oil and heat.
